Senior Show Pictures

For those who missed the email or are just curious about what's next on our long list of to-do's before the show - pictures are happening this week!!! 

What does that mean you ask?

That means tomorrow (Monday) the first group of people are scheduled to take photos with Bill Wikrent in Millenium Hall 203.

Pictures will be uploaded to our website very soon after Thanksgiving break in hopes of a website launch in early December!

MMMM Serigraphy

Last Friday we took on the large task of screen printing mailers for the show.  Frustration, ridiculousness, and success ensued.  



We finished a productive night for decisions for the printing group.  Paper and ink for screen printing has been purchased, and the larger vinyl banners will be purchased this weekend.


11/2 WED - Submit design firms to Alyssa, remember please have an actual person's name from the company as well as an address.

11/4 FRI- List of design firms finalized. No more than 150 firms.

11/9WED- Bring your screens and black ink by the start of class. Inks mixed, screens burned tape and such acquired.

11/10 THURS- All paper for posters cut down

11/10-11/12 FRI. SAT.- Screen printing mailers 1st then the posters. Hope we finish!

11/21 MON- Mailers folded, addressed, and sealed by the end of the day.

11/22 TUES- Mail the mailers

12/7 WED- Hang the posters.

Remember we have 2 hours scheduled after class every monday. I think we can accomplish a lot of this then.  The print committee needs your help cutting, printing, folding, and addressing all of the mailers as well as cutting and printing the posters.  So please think about what you would prefer to help doing.  We will finalize who is doing what at our PR meeting on monday.

This is all written on a calendar pinned on the back wall of the studio.
We also have a list started of people who have screens that we can use to print.  We are going to need a lot to speed up the printing process and because we have 3 colors and 6 poster designs. So please write your name on the list if we can borrow yours for a weekend.  This goes for gallery people too.  We are also in need of black ink. If you have any you can donate or are in screen printing currently and can acquire some please give it to Emily by that day. Whatever is not used will be returned to you.

As a passionate force contending for smart and effective solutions, CON10DERS anticipate the use of technology in the coming decade of graphic design. This is achieved by thoughtful considerations of what has been and what is to come. 



It is always a good day for some design humor. 


We finalized our logo colors today!


A lot was taken care of the past two meetings.
- The CON10DERS name was choosen.

- Posters will be screen-printed to help on costs. Materials are still being decided fully. A favorite idea of using fabric and making banners was a promising option.

- We talked about possibly having a video of us setting up our show(s) would be captured and played outside the gallery on the night of the show. This fast paced video will give the visitors a chance to see the work that goes into setting this up!

 -Please try to attend all PR meetings on Monday nights. This is a group effort!

- Logo will be fully decided on Oct. 5th thanks to Nora Langer, and Emily Brownson for creating a  fabulous logo for our show!
